Our interdisciplinary research team at the University Hospital Magdeburg is working with local companies to develop intelligent insoles for patients with diabetes that measure plantar pressure and temperature changes in real time, providing early warning of health complications. This innovative technology contributes significantly to improving the quality of life of our patients and supports the prevention of serious complications. - Master's/PhD in computer science, data science, medical system engineering or a related field
- Strong programming skills in C# and hands-on experience with Unity game/app development
- Experience in Android deployment, debugging, and mobile application testing
- Familiarity with sensor integration and digital health technologies is a plus
- Independent and structured way of working as well as an interest in innovative technologies in the healthcare sector
- Excellent analytical, technical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including in an interdisciplinary team
- 30 days of annual leave, plus flexible working time compensation days and public holidays

You can expect a competitive salary depending on assigned responsibilities and fulfillment of personal requirements, up to pay grade E13 in accordance with the collective agreement for the public service of the federal states (TV-L).
The position is available immediately, part-time (20 hours/week), and limited until 31 December 2027.
