Prepare and analyze monthly management reporting packages and performance reports, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and clear business relevance for internal stakeholders.

Support the budgeting and forecasting process by preparing rolling forecasts, variance analyses, and providing cause-of-change explanation.

Develop and refine forecasts by challenging assumptions, identifying risks and opportunities, and assessing their potential business impact.

Conduct scenario analyses to support financial planning, evaluate business decisions, and assess potential outcomes under varying assumptions.

Monitor and report on key SaaS metrics, including ARR, MRR, churn, and burn rate, translating performance data into actionable business insights and recommendations.

Develop and maintain financial models to support short-term planning and long-term strategic decisions.

Serve as a key sparring partner to the Head of Finance by providing financial insights, challenging assumptions, and supporting strategic decision-making.

Identify risks, opportunities, and key business drivers, proactively providing recommendations to improve financial and operational performance.

Partner with department leads to improve financial transparency, challenge assumptions, and support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of reporting processes, financial controls, and analytical workflows.

Take ownership of recurring FP&A activities and deliverables, ensuring high standards of quality, accuracy, and timeliness.

Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in FP&A, Controlling, or a comparable finance function, preferably in a dynamic or SaaS environment.

Strong understanding of SaaS business models and the key financial and operational KPIs that drive performance.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets, identify trends, and derive actionable insights.

Strong intellectual curiosity and critical thinking skills, with the confidence to challenge assumptions and form independent conclusions.

Strong business acumen combined with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Proven ability to translate financial and operational data into clear recommendations.

Experience contributing to reporting, forecasting, and planning processes with a high degree of ownership and accountability.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex topics clearly to both finance and non-finance audiences.

Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI; knowledge of DATEV is considered an advantage.
