Menck are looking to hire a Technical Sales Manager - Offshore Equipment (m/w/d) on a full time, permanent basis, based at their facility in Kaltenkirchen, Germany. Reporting to the Head of Sales, the Sales Manager will lead and coordinate the contract negotiations for rental / equipment service contracts to clients within the offshore installation service arena.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Define market‑specific requirements for Menck NMS and DBBC technologies and translate them into clear internal guidance.
Coordinate with Engineering, Greennov, third parties, and customers to align technical and commercial expectations.
Lead market introduction projects including scope definition, budgeting, planning, work-package alignment, and project management setup.
Develop tailoring, configuration, and pricing models suitable for different project types across NMS and DBBC solutions.
Present Menck technologies (NMS, DBBC, MNRU) to customers, stakeholders, and industry representatives.
Support DBBC and NMS product evolution, including roadmap development and market-driven feature prioritization.
Manage and present MNRU noise-performance results to internal stakeholders and customers.
Develop the approval strategy for operating in German waters (BSH engagement) and coordinate required actions.
Translate customer technical requirements into actionable inputs for internal departments and Acteon companies (e.g., PM, ENG, 2H).
Drive internal strategic initiatives, including preventive maintenance concepts, Predictable Lifecycle Management, and the Menck Piling Book.
Lead market-driven product management for Rocksteady, including value proposition development, roadmap definition, and general business development.
Requirements:
Bachelor / Master degree in relevant profession, i.e., civil, mechanical, or comparable engineering, alternatively business administration with strong technical understanding, and proven track record of comparable responsibility and position.
Ability to manage various tasks and opportunities across an integrated team in parallel.
Excellent communication skills – both internal and external facing.
Understanding of the offshore energy markets with ability and drive to maintain market intelligence and interpret market directions.
Commercial understanding for financial key drivers, i.e., revenue, profitability, accounts receivable, investment return and cash-flow dynamics.
Team player to support or supplement, equally lead, and champion opportunities.
Available for travel to client offices up to 50% of time.
Passion to contribute to energy transition initiatives through driving sustainable solutions for product portfolio.
Fluency in English and German, both written and spoken.
Advanced competency with MS Suite products.
