WHAT YOU’LL DO
As an Area Visual Merchandiser, you contribute to the sales and profit goals in your Area by creating and executing a plan to deliver a great customer experience in alignment with the country strategy. You ensure that stores have strong Visual Teams by actively driving succession planning, talent and leadership development, and structured performance management based on results, values, and leadership. You work cross-functionally, collaborating with key stakeholders to secure operational excellence while ensuring compliance with legal requirements, H&M standards, policies, and procedures to meet the expectations of both customers and colleagues.
You will:

Ensure the implementation of the Commercial handbook through coaching, store visits and feedback, focusing on maintaining a high visual level that aligns with global guidelines and creates an inspiring customer experience

Establish visual routines for the Store VM teams to create clear garment presentation and make sure to follow guidelines and brand expectations

Collaborate with Area Manager and People Team to provide structured talent management, including annual dialogues, development plans and business success

Regular follow up with your VM Sales Market Manager on the local VM goals set via the sales market and you in the area.

Plan for store expansion and resource management, including the maintenance of VM material with a strong sustainable approach to ensure succession planning for visual roles
WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
The Visual Merchandising function aims to drive store growth by creating exceptional store experiences, ensuring high productivity, financial resilience, and a strong brand presence. We achieve this through holistic retail strategies, powered by innovation and supported by our global network of teams and partners.
As part of the team, you’ll collaborate with your Area Manger and stores to support and follow up on the execution of the store activation plan, ensuring commercial basics and visual consistency across stores.
WHO YOU ARE
We are looking for people with…
- Several years of work experience in visual merchandising and leadership

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Familiarity with tech applications, including Microsoft Office

Experience in working in an area team environment (preferred but not mandatory)

This a full-time position, limited to two years, starting as soon as possible. The position will be based in Area 7 / Berlin. Remote work is partly possible according to our office policy, willingness to travel within the Area is expected.
