We’re looking for an experienced Localization Manager to lead our translation efforts, ensuring content is accurately adapted to the linguistic and cultural needs of audiences across German-, French-, Spanish-, and Italian-speaking markets. Source content is in English.
- Develop and implement localization workflows for Marketing content to ensure consistency, efficiency, and quality control
- Own the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of translation projects across multiple languages and platforms, translating technically complex content for a B2B audience
- Collaborate across-functions (i.e. with other Marketing teams, PR, Engineering) to ensure consistent and accurate localisation of all materials and touchpoints (incl. website)
- Collaborate with internal translation volunteers and support our open source translation community driving quality, engagement and on-time delivery
- Define and maintain linguistic standards, including style guides, glossaries, and translation memories to ensure brand and terminology consistency
- Define and drive the global localization strategy aligned with business and go-to-market goals
Requirements
- Degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field
- Proven experience in localisation project management ideally within the software industry
- Strong knowledge of translation management systems and CAT tools
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- High level of reliability and ability to work independently
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively
- Experience evaluating tools and designing workflows to automate and streamline localization processes
- Excellent written and spoken English skills
- Ability to translate and proofread from English into Spanish (Spain) and French (France), additional languages are a plus
