- As part of a team of three, you will be responsible for the administration of CAD systems (Solid Works, CATIA, NX)
- You support and administer our PDM system (3DExperience)
- You support our engineers and designers in their day-to-day business with questions and problems relating to the CAD and PDM environment
- You modify and extend the CAD standards (templates and system options) in the company
- You develop and maintain CAD guidelines, design standards and documentation specifications
- You will be responsible for communicating with system suppliers and manufacturers, partners and suppliers on CAD-related issues
- You act as an interface between users, the IT department and management
- You test and evaluate new CAD versions, templates and their compatibility with the existing environment
- You develop and optimize CAD processes in the design environment
- You will actively participate in an upgrade project for the existing CAD/PDM environment
- You have a degree in mechanical engineering or a comparable qualification
- You have experience in the administration of CAD systems
- Ideally, you have initial experience in the administration of PDM systems
- You are familiar with product development and product life cycles
- Ideally, you have an understanding of CAD-specific data formats (neutral and native formats)
- You recognize potential for improvement, develop solutions independently and on your own responsibility and implement them
- You see yourself as an internal service provider and can deal with users in a solution-oriented manner
- You have a good command of written and spoken German and English
