YOUR MISSION
As Head of Performance Marketing, you take full ownership of all performance-driven online channels and lead a business-critical function within our eCommerce and Omnichannel setup. Combining tactical steering, data-driven optimization, and team leadership, you ensure our performance marketing drives profitable growth, protects efficiency, and supports commercial objectives across our webshop, app, and stores.
WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Performance Marketing Leadership: You take full ownership of our performance-driven online marketing strategy across SEA, Shopping, SEO, Paid Social, Affiliate, and Retargeting. You translate business targets into actionable channel tactics, media plans, and budget logic, ensuring that performance marketing drives profitable growth, protects efficiency, and supports our overall commercial objectives across the webshop, app, and omnichannel business.
Channel Steering & Commercial Performance: You lead the steering and continuous optimization of all performance channels based on KPIs, budget pacing, and market dynamics. You ensure operational excellence in high-impact channels—especially SEA and Google Shopping—by monitoring feed quality, bidding, and tracking. You identify underperformance early and drive corrective actions alongside your team, agencies, and tech partners.
Team Leadership & Capability Building: You lead, stabilize, and develop our in-house performance marketing team, fostering a high-performance culture rooted in accountability, continuous learning, and resilience. You shape the transformation of roles and processes by embedding AI and automation into the team’s operating model, reducing manual work and freeing up expert capacity for strategic optimization.
Data & Marketing Effectiveness: You drive next-generation marketing measurement, including tracking quality, attribution, incrementality testing, and omnichannel performance. Working closely with Analytics, CRM, and Tech, you ensure that performance decisions are based on reliable data and holistic business logic. You translate complex data into clear, management-ready recommendations and actionable decisions.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Your Background: You bring several years of senior-level experience in Performance Marketing within an eCommerce environment, ideally in fashion, sports, or a similar consumer-driven business. You have a proven track record of managing significant media budgets with a clear focus on revenue, contribution margins, and scalability.
Your Profile: You possess a deep hands-on understanding of major performance channels (specifically SEA, Google Shopping, SEO, and Paid Social), while exposure to Affiliate, Display, and feed-based advertising is a distinct plus. You combine strong analytical skills with a next-gen mindset regarding tracking, marketing measurement, and the practical application of AI tools.
Your Working Style: You are a resilient leader who creates stability in a dynamic, changing environment. You possess strong stakeholder management skills, allowing you to act as a senior sparring partner for your team while translating complex channel topics into a clear big-picture narrative for cross-functional commercial and technical teams.
