What to Expect
Tesla Finance Team’s mission is to improve the company operationally and financially by working closely with operations to control costs and improve processes. The team is currently focused on building strong, sustainable processes to support the rapid growth of Giga Berlin. We are looking for a hands-on Fixed Asset Controller with a strong understanding of manufacturing operations and production tooling to join our dynamic and international team.
What You'll Do-
Act as the primary Fixed Asset Controller for manufacturing shops, with a strong focus on production tooling and capital equipment.

Collaborate closely with procurement and shop teams to understand purchasing decisions, asset acquisitions, and tooling investments.

Proactively identify asset risks and opportunities across manufacturing areas and drive alignment between operational and financial stakeholders.

Manage the end-to-end fixed asset lifecycle for manufacturing and tooling assets, including capitalization, useful life assessments, and depreciation.

Ensure accurate and timely reporting of fixed assets and depreciation by maintaining close alignment between operational data and financial systems.

Drive process improvements and build efficient, visual reporting tools to support decision-making.

Support month-end closing activities, including reconciliation of in-house systems and identification of capitalizable costs.

Work closely with Procurement on tooling purchases to ensure proper asset classification, cost allocation, and compliance with capitalization policies.
What You'll Bring-
Strong experience in Fixed Asset Controlling within a manufacturing or production environment.

Direct purchasing experience is highly valued (e.g., involvement in tooling or capital equipment procurement).

Hands-on personality with a willingness to work closely with operations and get involved in day-to-day processes.

Academic degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Strong Excel and BI skills; experience with ERP systems and SQL is a plus.

Excellent communication skills in English (German is a plus).

High affinity for numbers and comfort working with large data sets.

Strong business acumen and understanding of end-to-end manufacturing and procurement processes.
