The Role:
We are looking for a Production Team Leader to lead a small production team while ensuring manufacturing activities are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards. You will play a key role in production planning, resource coordination, team development and continuous improvement, working closely with technical experts and cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals.
You will be responsible for:

Leading, motivating and developing a team of production employees to achieve operational, quality and safety objectives.

Planning and coordinating daily and weekly production activities, including capacity planning, work-in-progress (WIP) order management, production scheduling and material availability.

Leading regular stand-up meetings, team meetings and one-to-one discussions to communicate priorities, review performance and support employee development.

Collaborating with technical experts, shift coordinators and other departments to coordinate production activities and plan future workloads.

Monitoring production performance and KPIs, identifying issues and escalating risks where appropriate.

Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality and operational efficiency.

Supporting audits and ensuring compliance with company standards and manufacturing processes.
About You:
You are an organised and proactive leader with experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. You enjoy developing people, improving processes and working collaboratively to achieve operational excellence.
You will also have:

At least one year's experience leading a team.

Experience within a production, manufacturing or industrial environment.

A technical qualification or technical education.

A strong technical mindset with an understanding of manufacturing processes.

Experience with production planning, KPI monitoring and performance management.

Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives and audits.

Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments.

Fluent German and a good standard of written and spoken English.
