As an IT System Administrator (all genders), you play a central role in the ongoing development and security of our internal IT infrastructure. You work at the intersection of IT security, user support, and system administration, ensuring that our teams can operate in a stable, secure, and modern IT environment. You contribute your technical expertise to security concepts, onboarding processes, and our overall system landscape.
Management and strategic development of our Apple devices using mobile device management solutions
Planning, configuration, and implementation of policies, device configurations, and automated rollouts
Installation, configuration, and ongoing management of Ubiquiti network hardware
Setup, administration, and maintenance of Linux systems
Automation of system configurations, operating system rollouts, and regular updates
Establishment and maintenance of Infrastructure-as-Code and automation processes
Setup and support of SSO and identity provider integrations
Configuration, maintenance, and continuous development of our firewall infrastructure
Documentation of the system landscape, security policies, and administrative processes
Analysis and sustainable resolution of issues related to networks, end devices, operating systems, and authentication
Practical experience administering Apple devices and MDM systems, ideally Mosyle
In-depth knowledge of Linux system administration
Experience with network components and architectures, preferably within the Ubiquiti ecosystem
Knowledge of IT infrastructure automation, ideally using Ansible
Experience with modern authentication and SSO standards such as SAML 2.0 and OpenID Connect
Good knowledge of firewalling, network segmentation, and IT security, ideally with OPNsense
A structured, independent, and solution-oriented approach to work
Understanding of scalable, secure, and maintainable IT infrastructures
Experience with zero-touch deployment and automated operating system rollouts
Knowledge of identity and access management systems
Experience with monitoring, logging, and patch management solutions
Interest in strategic infrastructure planning and the continuous improvement of existing systems
