About the Role
We are looking for experienced Multimedia Camera & Video Engineers with strong expertise in Automotive Infotainment systems, Camera Drivers, Video Middleware, and Embedded Multimedia platforms.
The role involves working on advanced Automotive multimedia platforms focusing on camera pipelines, video frameworks, graphics acceleration, multimedia drivers, and virtualization technologies across embedded Linux/QNX environments.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on next-generation Automotive Infotainment and multimedia systems involving camera integration, video processing, GPU frameworks, and low-level embedded platform development.
Key Responsibilities
· Work on Automotive multimedia camera and video platform development.
· Develop, integrate, and debug camera drivers and video middleware components.
· Analyze and resolve complex multimedia/video issues through live and post-mortem debugging.
· Work with embedded multimedia frameworks, graphics pipelines, and hardware acceleration technologies.
· Collaborate with global engineering teams on multimedia platform integration and optimization.
· Support customer issue analysis, debugging, and root cause investigation.
· Work closely with hardware interfaces, camera sensors, and display technologies.
Required Skills – Multimedia Camera
· Experience in Automotive Infotainment projects.
· Strong debugging skills including live debugging and post-mortem analysis.
· Experience with one or more software platforms:QNX, GHS (Green Hills Software), Linux Containers, Exposure to Hypervisors and Virtualization technologies.
· Hands-on experience with: OpenGL ES, Vulkan, OpenCL
· Experience with Camera Drivers and Controllers, preferably using Linux V4L2 driver model.
· Familiarity with: Serializer/Deserializer (SerDes) bridge chips, Composition pipelines, Colour formats
· Understanding of Camera Sensor specifications including: Timing, Pixel Clock, Frame Rates
· Experience with CSI and DSI interfaces.
Required Skills – Multimedia Video
· Experience working with: Video Middleware, Multimedia Drivers, Firmware-related, multimedia components
· Strong understanding of embedded multimedia/video pipelines.
· Experience with multimedia system integration and troubleshooting.
Preferred Skills
· Qualcomm multimedia/camera platform exposure.
· Experience in Embedded Linux and Android multimedia systems.
· Automotive camera or infotainment platform experience.
· Strong low-level debugging and performance optimization skills.
· German language skills are an added advantage.
Experience
6–10 years of relevant experience in Embedded Multimedia / Camera / Video platform development.
