What you'll do
-
You will collaborate closely within an interdisciplinary, product-focused team, working alongside developers and operations specialists.

You will be responsible for ensuring and continuously improving product quality, achieved through a combination of automated and manual quality control practices in close cooperation with your team.

In this role, you will actively advance test automation, both in terms of quality and coverage.

You will drive the continuous improvement of our test processes, tools, and overall test automation strategy.
What you'll need
-
You have a university degree in Computer Engineering/Science or equivalent education, career changers with passion for IT are also welcome.

You have 5+ years of professional experience in a comparable position.
-
You are driven to identify and analyze defects in development, design, and logic.
-
You have sound experience in automated as well as manual testing of backend applications considering functional as well as non-functional requirements.

You have a strong commitment to automated testing.

You are comfortable reading and analyzing source code and log files, as well as conducting in-depth technical research.

You have strong practical experience with at least three of the following areas:
API-Testing using Frameworks like ReadyAPI, Karate or PyCharm
basic software development in Python and/or Java
understanding and usage of database management systems (e.g. mySQL, Postgres) and queuing systems (e.g. Kafka)
CI/CD integration using Jenkins in combination with Docker and Git
JMeter for Performance and Load testing
knowledge in testing Kubernetes plugins will be a big plus -
