Medical Affairs Technical Lead (M/F/D)

For our Industrial Services team, Techfirm Engineering is looking for a Medical Affairs Technical Lead who is ready to take on exciting challenges and grow with us in Switzerland.
Your Mission
Within an international Life Sciences environment, you will serve as the interface between Medical Affairs teams, IT, vendors, and external partners. You will oversee the administration, enhancement, and implementation of digital solutions supporting Medical Information and Medical Affairs activities across multiple markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the administration, configuration, enhancement, and deployment of digital solutions dedicated to Medical Affairs and Medical Information activities, particularly within the Veeva ecosystem.
- Gather business requirements from Medical Affairs teams and translate them into functional requirements, system configurations, and scalable solutions.
- Manage system evolution and transformation projects: requirements analysis, solution selection, RFPs, vendor evaluation, implementation, data migration, validation, and go-live.
- Provide support and continuous improvement for platforms, workflows, integrations, and interfaces with CRM, Pharmacovigilance, document management, and reporting systems.
- Collaborate with international teams and stakeholders located across different markets, particularly in Europe and Asia.
- Manage relationships with software vendors, system integrators, consultants, and external service providers.
- Contribute to innovation projects and the integration of AI-based solutions into Medical Affairs processes, in collaboration with IT, Compliance, Privacy, and Legal teams.
- Ensure compliance with GxP, CSV/CSA, Data Integrity, and data protection requirements within regulated environments.
- Participate in defining data models, system mapping, and impact analysis during application ecosystem changes.
- Track requests, incidents, changes, and operational KPIs using project management and reporting tools.
Your Profile
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2 to 5+ years of experience in system administration, project management, or business analysis within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or Life Sciences industry.
- Significant experience supporting Medical Affairs, Medical Information, or medical functions is strongly preferred.
- Solid hands-on experience with the Veeva ecosystem, particularly Veeva MedInquiry, Veeva Vault MedComms, and/or Veeva CRM.
- Strong understanding of system integrations, workflows, data management, and complex application environments.
- Experience in project management, RFPs, vendor selection, solution implementation, and rollout.
- Knowledge of regulated environments and GxP, CSV/CSA, validation, and Data Integrity requirements.
- Experience with IQVIA/OneKey, ServiceNow, Smartsheet, and Power BI is a plus.
- Familiarity with Pharmacovigilance processes and safety systems is an advantage.
- Experience with AI projects applied to Medical Affairs activities is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to bridge the gap between technical and business teams.
- Autonomous, structured, proactive, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously in an international environment.
- Experience managing external vendors and partners.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken. French is a plus.

Pay: 60.435,11€ - 121.825,76€ per year
