Festival Pro is a software company providing production, management and accreditation software for 1000s of event professionals around the world. The software is used to power large scale festivals, events and conferences. You can think of it as a CRM system for the live events world, highly customisable providing a complete set of tools for end to end management of events. It’s a cloud based system providing the glue for the events world to remove the need for spreadsheets, pen and paper and prayers that this will all go well.
Job Role
We’re looking for someone who is able to teach, train and advise our events. You’d need to learn our software platform back to front and be able to talk to customers on zoom. This isn’t a traditional support role as you’ll be working directly with the event teams to understand their requirements, assist with configuration and train the teams. You’ll need to take ownership of a customer and help them through the onboarding stage. You’ll look after them into their event, suggesting improvements to their workflow and feeding back suggestions to the development team. This is a very fun, dynamic and hands-on job that gets you speaking to events from all around the world.
Skills needed
- Technical ability to use software packages, you should not be afraid of computers.
- Be able to understand processes used within festivals and events.
- Social and able to explain complex issues, calmly to end users.
- Think outside the box and be able to advise events not just how to use the system but also how to run their events more effectively.
- Able to communicate on slack and zoom (video/audio) throughout the day.
- Problem solving and trouble shooting.
- Ability to work remotely and self manage whilst working in a team.
You do not need to have a background in events to be suitable for this job.
This is a work from home position based in the UK. Our central office is located in London UK, and you may occasionally (once or twice a year) need to visit for team events. There is also the possibility of international travel as well as entry to festivals.
