Job Summary**
We are seeking a dedicated and technically skilled Equipment Support professional to join our team at JD DEVELOPMENT DE GmbH. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning, maintenance, and repair of a variety of equipment, contributing directly to our operational efficiency and project success.
Job Responsibilities**
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on a wide range of company equipment, including but not limited to machinery, tools, and systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, identifying root causes of malfunctions and implementing effective solutions.
- Execute repairs, replacements, and adjustments to equipment components, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and service history.
- Assist in the installation, calibration, and commissioning of new equipment.
- Provide technical support and guidance to equipment users, offering training on proper operation and basic troubleshooting.
- Manage and organize spare parts inventory, ensuring availability of critical components.
- Collaborate with other departments to minimize equipment downtime and optimize operational workflows.
- Adhere to all company safety regulations and procedures.
- Suggest improvements for equipment performance, reliability, and longevity.
Job Qualifications**
- Proven experience in equipment maintenance, repair, or a similar technical support role.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with a solid understanding of diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving complex equipment issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively explain technical information to non-technical personnel.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for record-keeping and inventory management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license may be required for potential travel to various sites.
- Relevant technical certification or vocational training is highly desirable.
