What to Expect
As a Material Handler (m/f/d) you are responsible
for the correct processing of the incoming goods & outgoing orders within the boundaries of our workinstructions and procedures according to our company guidelines.
You are also responsible for the safety according the Arbo regulations related to the usage of the
internal transport equipment and for the processing the outbound orders on quantities, correct parts,
damages and other inconveniences to maintain a correct delivery level.
The position will be located in Giengen an der Brenz (Baden-Würtemberg).
What You'll Do
Responsibilities
- Ensures orderly distribution of Spare Parts by picking orders from inventory, delivering
materials and supplies where needed, and staging them for final distribution
- Contributes to the orderly operation of stock and/or materials storage area
- Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock
recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages
- Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on orders
- Maintains in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening spare parts and
supplies
- Locates and packs spare parts for shipping
- Documents spare parts and records units delivered and location of units
- Receives spare parts and supplies from suppliers by verifying quantities and quality
- Prepares spare parts for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and
securing product
- Documents spare parts shipment by recording units shipped
- Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections and making
operator repairs
- Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items to move materials onto
and off trucks, ships, and loading docks
- Keeps inventory, loading areas, and machinery clean
- Learns and adheres to workplace safety regulations
What You'll Bring- Proven work experience within Logistic or Distribution center environment
- Certified Forklift driver (preferably)
- Knowledge of/experience with WMS/ERP systems would be beneficial
- Familiar with external shipping software would be beneficial
- Basic knowledge of the English language, both written and verbal
- You are a team worker
- Ability to lift 10-25 kgs on a daily basis
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software packages
