At emnify, we’re building our SDR function and looking for someone who is excited to grow with it. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their sales career who wants to learn fast, get hands-on coaching, and make a real impact from day one.
This role is focused on outbound prospecting and pipeline generation. You’ll identify and engage target accounts, reach out across channels with a strong focus on cold calling, and help create qualified opportunities for the sales team. You do not need to have everything figured out already - what matters most is that you are proactive, curious, and eager to learn.
The IoT connectivity market is fast-moving and competitive, which makes this a strong place to build your sales career. You’ll learn how to speak to real business challenges, understand different customer needs, and develop the skills to engage the right people with relevant messaging.
In this role, you’ll reach out to decision-makers such as Heads of Product, VPs of Engineering, and IoT or connectivity leaders across industries like mobility, energy, healthcare, industrial, and retail. These are thoughtful buyers, so success comes from doing your research, asking good questions, staying persistent, and being confident enough to pick up the phone.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys taking initiative, is willing to cold call, and wants a strong start in sales. The right person is coachable, resilient, and motivated to improve every week. You do not need years of SDR experience, but you should bring energy, work ethic, and a real interest in learning how great outbound works.
- Prospect into target accounts through cold calling, email, LinkedIn, events, and other outbound channels
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on fit, business need, and potential
- Engage prospects with personalized outreach, with a strong focus on consistent, high-quality calling
- Research accounts to make your outreach timely and relevant
- Work closely with Account Executives on follow-up, meeting conversion, and target account outreach
- Partner with Marketing on campaigns, events, and lead follow-up, while sharing feedback from prospect conversations
- Generate meetings and pipeline for the sales team
- Keep CRM records accurate and up to date, with strong attention to follow-through
- Use coaching, feedback, and performance data to improve over time
- Contribute ideas to improve messaging and outreach approaches
- Some experience in a customer-facing role such as sales, business development, customer support, recruiting, hospitality, retail, or similar
- Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with prospects by phone, email, and LinkedIn
- Willingness to cold call consistently and learn how to run effective outbound outreach
- A proactive, coachable mindset and motivation to build a career in sales
- Fluent English and German language skills
- Based in Berlin, or excited to collaborate from our Berlin office 3–4 days a week in a flexible hybrid setup
