Subproject Manager (f/m/d)
Your Tasks
- Subproject management of work packages in the areas of sensor development, sensor breadboard, and technology development

Subproject management for an optical instrument in Phase B1/B2/C
-
Planning, management, and execution of all aspects related to these work packages
-
Acquisition of external funding to support the co-financing of the activity
-
Overall coordination between development, procurement, product assurance, and AIT for the optical instrument
-
Preparation, maintenance, and communication of the necessary schedules to track progress, as well as proactive management to ensure an efficient development cycle
-
Internal and external stakeholder management
-
Technical guidance for team members
-
Preparation of necessary trade-offs and associated actions
-
Regular reporting to project management on the status and progress of the development and technology activities
Your Qualifications
-
Degree in Aerospace Engineering or a comparable qualification
-
Proven track record in connection with a space product
-
Deep knowledge of space instrument programmes
-
Experience in building industrial consortia
-
Sound understanding of the specific constraints and challenges of Earth observation missions
-
Very good understanding of the relationship between schedule, budget, and quality in space projects, with the ability to balance these dimensions and set priorities

Experience in the technical leadership of project teams, particularly in development
-
Strong customer orientation, results orientation, and cost awareness

Confident and convincing manner, strategic thinking, and entrepreneurial mindset

Highly proactive, structured, and self-organized way of working

Team player with a high level of cooperation and strong conflict-resolution skills
