About the Role
In this role as Specialist Supply Chain Network Optimization you support EMEA countries in designing, evaluating, and optimizing regional distribution networks to improve service, reduce logistics cost, and increase efficiency.
Network Flow & Footprint Analysis

Analyze distribution networks and replenishment structures.

Identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
Network Scenario Evaluation & Optimization

Develop simulations comparing cost and service alternatives.

Support decision‑making with data‑based scenarios.
Transportation Logic & Flow Optimization

Improve routing logic, modes, and frequencies.

Identify cost and CO2 reduction opportunities.
Replenishment Structure & Inventory Alignment

Optimize replenishment rules and allocation flows.

Align planning and logistics requirements.
Data & Analytics Excellence

Provide tools and templates for better decision‑making.
Continuous Improvement

Standardize and improve structural flow processes.
Risk & Resilience Planning

Build alternative flow concepts and contingency plans.
Strategic Network Development

Support long‑term network strategy.
Your Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field
-
3–5+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, network optimization, or similar analytical roles
-
Strong expertise in distribution network design, transportation modeling, and supply chain flow optimization
-
Proven experience with scenario modeling, simulation tools, and cost-to-serve analysis
-
Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in tools such as Excel (advanced)
-
Experience with supply chain optimization
-
Solid understanding of transportation strategies, routing optimization, and inventory planning principles
-
Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and decision-ready recommendations
-
Strong knowledge of logistics cost drivers, service metrics, and CO2/emissions considerations
-
Experience in continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus
-
Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to work across functions and regions (especially EMEA exposure preferred)

Experience supporting strategic projects and long-term network design initiatives
-
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
-
Structured, problem-solving mindset with high attention to detail and quality
-
Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage
