Online Trading Executive – DACH Market
FULLY REMOTE
Reporting to the Global Ecommerce Manager, you'll play a key role in driving the success of our German-language ecommerce business across Germany, Austria and Switzerland. You'll be responsible for managing day-to-day website trading, analysing performance, localising content and identifying opportunities to enhance the customer journey and increase online sales.
Working closely with teams across Retail Marketing, Merchandising, Design and Development, you'll help deliver an exceptional online experience for our German-speaking customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operation of German ecommerce sites, ensuring product information, promotions, translations and content are accurate and up to date.
- Support the execution of the online trading strategy to maximise sales, conversion and customer engagement.
- Localise website content, product descriptions and marketing campaigns for German-speaking markets, ensuring linguistic accuracy and cultural relevance
- Monitor and report on key ecommerce metrics including traffic, conversion, average order value and revenue, providing actionable insights
- Collaborate with digital marketing teams on SEO, email marketing, paid media and customer acquisition initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve website usability, customer experience and checkout performance.
- Conduct competitor and market analysis to identify trends and growth opportunities.
- Work closely with Customer Service and wider business teams to ensure a seamless customer journey.
About You
- Fluent German and English speaker, both written and verbal.
- At least 3 years' ecommerce experience, ideally within fashion, jewellery, luxury or premium consumer brands.
- Strong understanding of the German ecommerce landscape and customer behaviour.
- Experience using ecommerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento or similar CMS systems.
- Confident using Google Analytics (GA4) and other reporting tools to analyse performance and identify opportunities.
- Good understanding of SEO, digital marketing and online trading principles
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Commercially minded, analytical and proactive in driving improvements.
- Able to travel to our London headquarters approximately once per month.
