In this key leadership position, you will take responsibility for a specialised Quality Operations team and play an important role in ensuring the quality and regulatory compliance of an international pharmaceutical product portfolio.
Your responsibilities will include:

Leading, developing and mentoring the Quality Operations team, providing strategic direction and ensuring the successful execution of departmental objectives.

Organising, prioritising and allocating activities across the team while fostering effective collaboration with internal stakeholders and cross-functional departments.

Overseeing quality-related activities involving external manufacturers, suppliers and business partners.

Acting as the primary escalation point for critical product quality topics and complex quality-related issues.

Taking end-to-end responsibility for the management of market complaints, product claims, recalls, quality alerts and other product-related quality issues throughout the product lifecycle.

Ensuring the timely preparation and oversight of Product Quality Reviews (PQRs) in accordance with applicable regulatory and internal requirements.

Overseeing product stability programmes as well as the identification, qualification and supply of reference standards.

Monitoring and analysing product quality data to identify trends, potential risks and opportunities for improvement.

Driving continuous improvement initiatives to maintain and further strengthen quality standards across the organisation.

Collaborating closely with external manufacturing partners as well as internal functions such as Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, Medical Affairs and other Quality teams.
You combine strong pharmaceutical Quality expertise with proven leadership experience and the ability to manage complex topics within an international and highly cross-functional environment.
Ideally, you bring:

A Master's degree or comparable academic qualification in pharmacy, natural sciences, medicine or a related scientific discipline.

At least 7 years of relevant professional experience within the pharmaceutical industry.

At least 4 years of leadership experience, ideally managing specialised Quality teams.

Broad expertise within pharmaceutical Quality, particularly in areas such as:

Complaints Management

Quality Issue Management

Product Quality Reviews / Annual Product Reviews

Recalls and quality alerts

Product stability
-
External manufacturing / supplier quality
-
A strong understanding of GMP requirements and pharmaceutical quality systems.

Strong analytical and strategic thinking with the ability to structure and manage complex quality topics.

Confident communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Experience working across functions and with external manufacturing or business partners.

Very good English skills; additional languages are advantageous.
