For one of our clients, a modern and agile Reinsurance company we are looking for an experienced treaty underwriter. We are looking for a treaty underwriter with a casualty background to join our team in Munich which is responsible for Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Nordics.

responsible for the analysis, pricing and evaluation of profitable treaty reinsurance business
casualty underwriting with the opportunity to expand knowledge to property underwriting or vise versa
developing and maintaining long-term relationships with business partners
understanding client needs and developing solutions together with the team
analysis of market trends, market cycles, support in portfolio analyses, and identification re-underwriting needs and emerging opportunities
support in cross-functional initiatives
- comfortable in developing and maintaining client and broker relationships
5+ years of experience in reinsurance Casualty Underwriting. Experience in DACH is an asset
you are a team player with excellent analytical skills who proactively integrates other functions in the underwriting process to ensure underwriting quality
passion for risk: you have a strong understanding in the assessment of risks and a flair for numbers
ability to evaluate standard proportional and non-proportional treaty reinsurance business in adherence to processes and guidelines
open minded and proactive to foresee the development of risk, tool and market assessments
