For our client, an internationally operating company in the energy technology sector, we are looking for an AI & Digital Transformation Manager (f/m/d) to join the team in Mülheim an der Ruhr as soon as possible.
In this role, you will drive digital transformation initiatives with a strong focus on Artificial Intelligence and intelligent automation. You will lead cross-functional projects, identify opportunities for AI-driven innovation, and support the successful implementation of scalable digital solutions across Supplier Quality, Procurement, and other business functions.
This is a permanent, full-time position (35 hours per week) with an intended direct transfer to our client's company.
- Lead AI and digital transformation projects from concept development and business case creation through implementation and enterprise-wide scaling.

Identify, evaluate, and prioritize opportunities for Artificial Intelligence and intelligent automation across Supplier Quality, Procurement, and other business functions.

Develop project roadmaps, business cases, KPIs, implementation plans, and resource strategies while managing timelines, budgets, risks, and stakeholder expectations.

Coordinate international, cross-functional project teams and collaborate closely with business stakeholders, IT specialists, process owners, and external partners.

Translate business requirements into practical, scalable digital solutions and support their successful implementation and continuous improvement.

Evaluate, pilot, and implement modern technologies in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, AI Agents, intelligent automation, and data-driven process optimization.

Support organizational change and promote the responsible, secure, and effective adoption of AI technologies across the business.

- Master's degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

Several years of professional experience in project management, digital transformation, automation, process optimization, or a comparable role within an international environment.

Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional projects combined with strong stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills.

Sound understanding of Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, AI Agents, workflow automation, and data-driven process optimization, with the ability to translate business needs into scalable digital solutions.

Hands-on experience in designing, implementing, testing, or optimizing AI-driven and data-based solutions, ideally using technologies such as Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, RPA, Python, SQL, and Snowflake.

Excellent English communication skills, a structured and proactive working style, a collaborative mindset, strong analytical thinking, and willingness to travel internationally
