Energy Procurement & Market Intelligence
Manage core electrical energy activities across Europe.
Monitor energy markets and provide recommendations on procurement timing and sourcing strategies.
Advise local companies on energy purchasing decisions and commercial implications.
Support electricity-intensive industrial projects, including renewable energy sourcing concepts and green hydrogen production through electrolysis.
Provide market intelligence and support procurement and hedging strategies.
Contract & Supplier Management
Support the management of energy-related contracts, settlements, and pricing mechanisms.
Coordinate supplier relationships, tenders, and procurement activities across Europe.
Support negotiations of energy supply agreements, including renewable PPAs and Guarantees of Origin (GoOs).
Energy Risk
Monitor market, regulatory, and geopolitical developments affecting energy procurement.
Deliver reporting on market developments, procurement performance, and key KPIs.
Stakeholder Management
University degree in Energy Economics, Engineering, Business Administration, Environmental Sciences, Finance, or a related field.
Several years of experience in energy procurement, energy trading, utilities, or an energy-intensive industrial environment.
Strong knowledge of European electricity, natural gas, and environmental markets, including relevant regulations.
Experience in procurement strategies, supplier management, and energy contract negotiations. Proven experience negotiating renewable energy (green) Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), particularly for electrolyser and green hydrogen projects is and advantage.
Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency and experience working with market data.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Fluent English; additional European languages are an advantage.
Willingness to travel up to 10% across Europe.
