Our client is a German product company, the leading marketplace for promotional merchandise in Germany, SOURCE WERBEARTIKEL.
They are looking for a Senior GCP Data Engineer to help develop and scale their modern cloud-native data platform.
Work format - hybrid, Wiesbaden. Relocation package is included.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform.
* Build and enhance ELT processes.
* Work with BigQuery as the primary analytics platform.
* Develop and maintain integrations between internal and external systems.
* Develop Cloud Functions.
* Work with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
* Use Python to build services and integrations.
* Design, optimize, and maintain data models.
* Work with Airflow or Dagster for workflow orchestration.
* Collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver new data solutions.
Required Qualifications:
* 4+ years of commercial experience as a Data Engineer or Cloud Engineer.
* Strong hands-on commercial experience with Google Cloud Platform (production).
* Strong experience with BigQuery.
* Strong Python programming skills.
* Experience with Terraform.
* Practical experience building ELT pipelines.
* Experience with dbt.
* Experience with Airflow or Dagster.
* Experience developing production-grade data pipelines.
* Solid understanding of modern data platform architecture.
* Experience working directly with business stakeholders.
* High level of ownership and ability to work independently.
Nice to Have:
* Experience with Google Cloud Functions.
* Experience with Cloud Storage.
* Experience with Looker Studio.
* Experience in e-commerce or ERP projects.
English - Upper-Intermediate (B2+) or higher.
