Your responsibilities
- Prepare and conduct meetings of the central occupational safety committee and contribute to the development and implementation of the annual occupational safety program
- Conduct risk assessments, site inspections and process analyses, and create and further develop corresponding documentation
- Coordinate and collaborate with external authorities, consulting companies and experts to ensure compliance with legal requirements and relevant standards
- Organize and deliver training sessions and instructions, particularly in the areas of fire protection and first aid, including the recruitment and coordination of first aiders and fire wardens
- Coordinate occupational safety and emergency management topics across buildings and organizational units and provide relevant information to employees and managers
- Contribute to organizational and technical projects (e.g., fire and flood protection), including analysis, preparation of content and coordination with internal stakeholders and external service providers
Your profile
- Completed university degree with a relevant focus or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in occupational safety/health and safety, ideally complemented by relevant additional qualifications (e.g., safety officer)
- Experience in project management and in working with external service providers, ideally in a facility or campus management environment
- Solid knowledge of occupational safety and fire protection as well as relevant legal and regulatory requirements
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills combined with a structured, independent and results-oriented way of working
- Confident and professional demeanor with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Very good German language skills and business fluent English
