Your business is our business. If our Business Management and Operations Team had a slogan, that’s what it would be. The fact is, though, that the members of this team are far too busy ensuring our consultants’ work is efficient and productive to have the time to come up with slogans. Whether Executive or Management Assistant, Receptionist, Facility Staff member, Team Lead, or Office Manager: Each and every member of the Business Management and Operations Team contributes directly to our consultants’ success—and thus to that of our clients.
You will be part of our Management Assistant Team—the operational backbone that enables our consultants to focus on delivering impact for our clients. In this fast-paced and dynamic environment, you will play a key role in ensuring that day-to-day operations run smoothly and efficiently.
This position is designed as an entry point to the assistant career path at BCG, offering you the opportunity to build a solid foundation in stakeholder support, organization, and prioritization. From day one, you will be encouraged to learn on the job, take on increasing responsibility, and continuously advance your skill set—both through hands-on experience and exposure to a broad range of tasks and stakeholders.
We seek an individual who brings a strong service mindset and, equally important, a clear willingness to grow—a candidate who is motivated to evolve within the role and progressively develop toward more advanced assistant responsibilities over time.
Your responsibilities will include the following:
- Organizing and coordinating appointments, meetings, and business travel while ensuring seamless day-to-day support
- Supporting the prioritization and coordination of calendars and requests in alignment with stakeholder needs and team guidance
- Proactively identifying scheduling conflicts and inefficiencies and suggesting practical solutions
- Handling administrative and organizational tasks with accuracy, reliability, and service orientation
- Collaborating closely with your assistant team to ensure coverage, knowledge sharing, and consistent service quality
- Building strong working relationships with consultants, clients, and internal stakeholders
- Gradually taking on increasing responsibility in stakeholder coordination and task management
- Using digital tools and AI-supported applications to improve efficiency, streamline workflows, and enhance output quality
Do you want to enrich our team with your commitment? Then we look forward to receiving your complete application, stating your desired starting date. Your contact person is Miriam Hoidn, The Boston Consulting Group GmbH. You can find further information about your entry at bcg.com/careers.
