Job Description:
We are looking for a Spacecraft Operations Analyst. This position is based at EUMETSAT in Darmstadt.

Develop and maintain the operational S/C TMTC Database (MIB) and the associated tools and scripts.

Initiate and coordinate the deployment of databases and other operational items under configuration control to the operational system environments.

Perform the incoming inspection of the Satellite Reference Databases (SRDB) from the Satellite manufacturer and prepare it for operational usage.

Participate in joint meetings with external partners.
- Participate and report in operations meetings with the FCT and other teams as required.
- Develop and maintain operational documentation under configuration control.

Monitor, analyse and report Spacecraft routine activities, events and anomalies.

Support mission preparation activities.

Identify and support team training activities.

Provide on-call support to the operations team as required (24/7 On-call Analyst Service).

Perform additional Analyst tasks as defined by the supervisor.

Degree in a science or Technical discipline.

Minimum 1 year of experience in Spacecraft Operations as a Spacecraft Controller within EUMETSAT environment

Good IT skills (Database, SQL, Programming).

Good communication skills.

Good English skills, both oral and written.

METEOSAT Controller Certification will be an asset.

Applicants with knowledge of Python, Visual Basic or SQL will be given preference
