Location: Munich or Berlin, Germany, with regular travel to our logistics sites in Germany and Poland (including Sulechów, Świebodzin, Słubice and Poznań)
Security is a key enabler of our business. As a newly created position within our Loss Prevention team, you will play a critical role in strengthening the physical security of our logistics network by identifying vulnerabilities, challenging existing security measures, and driving continuous improvement.
You will assess our warehouses and transportation processes from an attacker’s perspective, conduct hands-on security assessments, and work closely with operational teams and external security providers to ensure the highest security standards across our supply chain.
- Conduct physical security audits across our logistics sites, evaluating operational security processes and compliance with company standards.
- Assess the effectiveness of CCTV systems, access control solutions, perimeter protection and intrusion detection systems.
- Plan and execute realistic Red Team exercises and physical penetration tests to identify vulnerabilities and validate existing security measures.
- Identify risks and security gaps, providing practical recommendations to mitigate threats and improve resilience.
- Prepare structured audit reports, including risk assessments, findings and actionable recommendations for management.
- Monitor, evaluate and audit the performance of external security service providers, ensuring compliance with agreed service levels (SLAs).
- Partner with operational stakeholders to implement corrective actions and continuously improve security standards.
- Deliver security awareness sessions and provide guidance to site teams on physical security best practices.
- Travel regularly to logistics sites across Germany and Poland.
- Several years of experience in Corporate Security, Physical Security, Loss Prevention, Security Operations or a comparable role.
- Proven experience in large-scale logistics, warehousing, fulfilment centres or industrial environments.
- Experience managing and auditing third-party security providers.
- Strong technical understanding of:
- CCTV and video surveillance systems
- Access control systems
- Intrusion detection and alarm systems
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess risks from an attacker’s perspective (Red Team mindset).
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the confidence to challenge existing processes where necessary.
- Willingness to travel frequently across Germany and Poland.
- Fluency in English, German and Polish is required.
- Experience in e-commerce or high-throughput logistics environments.
- Background in theft prevention or Loss Prevention.
- Experience conducting internal audits, compliance assessments or security reviews.
- Relevant certifications in Security, Risk Management or Auditing are considered an advantage.
