The Chair of Entrepreneurship and Management focuses on
empirical research in the fields of entrepreneurship, strategic
management, and international management. Our teaching
covers startup-specific topics, management and leadership
skills, as well as entrepreneurial thinking and action—both
within and beyond the field of economics.
YOUR TASKS
» Research in entrepreneurship and management,
including participation in and independent advancement
of (empirical) research and publication projects in
co-author teams
» Teaching, including independent instruction of classes
and conceptual development of entrepreneurship
instruction for the Faculty of Business, Economics and
Social Sciences
» The opportunity to obtain an academic qualification
(doctorate) is provided and expected
YOUR PROFILE
» Degree in economics, business administration, business
informatics, or organizational/business psychology (or
comparable programmes) (with distinction)
» Interest in and experience with current entrepreneurship
and management research (e.g., entrepreneurship and
well-being, hybrid entrepreneurship, environmental
innovations, strategic and international alliances)
» Willingness to design and deliver courses (seminars
and lectures) and supervise theses
» Strong interest in empirical research; knowledge of
quantitative empirical methods and data analysis
(e.g. Stata or SPSS) is highly desirable
» Independent and self-reliant approach to work, high level
of resilience, stamina and motivation
» Flexibility, ability to work in a team, curiosity and
willingness to learn
» Very good written and spoken English skills
