In this role, you will serve as the Senior CAPEX user representative for strategic capital investment projects, ensuring that business and production requirements are successfully translated into project deliverables. You will be responsible for delivering capital projects from concept through implementation, ensuring operational readiness, stakeholder alignment, and successful realization of business benefits. You will play a key role in shaping site development plans, driving technology initiatives, and supporting long-term expansion strategies.
The Role & Your Impact:
Drive development of Site Master Plan for projects and make sure inputs are collected and matured sufficiently.
Define outcome, benefits, and user requirements
Align user needs and inputs and integrate tasks and deliverables into the project
Plan tie-ins to site, organize & coordinate user group and secure resources
Drive benefit realization and operational readiness
Update and be the contact point for the Leadership Team on key CAPEX projects at all phases of projects, take part in strategic work and expansion scenarios
Leverage extended network within Novonesis, contribute to questions/discussions regarding projects and technology
Lead/Participate in development of local investment plans for small projects
What You’ll Need to Be Successful:
B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Engineering, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field.
5–10 years of experience in manufacturing, production, or supply chain environments, preferably within Food GMP or related regulated industries.
Strong understanding of production processes, with the ability to translate operational needs into project requirements.
Experience participating in or leading CAPEX projects, including stakeholder alignment, implementation, and operational handover.
Hands-on experience from manufacturing, production, process engineering, or supply chain functions.
Excellent stakeholder management, collaboration, and influencing skills across functions and organizational levels.
Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
