AP TutorPosition Summary
We are seeking passionate and knowledgeable AP Tutors to help high school students excel in Advanced Placement (AP) courses and examinations. The ideal candidate can explain complex concepts clearly, foster critical thinking, and build students' confidence through engaging instruction, targeted practice, and personalized academic support. Tutors work closely with the AP Coordinator to deliver high-quality instruction aligned with College Board expectations.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging one-on-one or small-group AP instruction.
- Teach course content aligned with the current College Board curriculum framework.
- Prepare students for AP exams through concept instruction, problem-solving, and exam strategies.
- Create and deliver quizzes, homework, mock exams, and review sessions.
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents.
- Identify learning gaps and develop individualized improvement plans.
- Encourage critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and independent learning.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assignments, and student performance.
- Collaborate with the AP Coordinator and fellow instructors to maintain instructional quality.
- Stay up to date with AP curriculum changes and examination requirements.
QualificationsEducation
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field (or currently pursuing a related degree for exceptional candidates).
Experience
- Strong subject-matter expertise in one or more AP courses.
- Previous teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or instructional experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with the AP curriculum and College Board assessment style is highly desirable.

- Ability to teach multiple AP subjects is a plus.
- Comfortable using digital learning platforms and educational technology.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 30,00€ - 60,00€ per hour
