As we continue to grow our business across Europe, we are building the local capabilities and infrastructure needed to support our people and our long-term growth. We’re opening an office in the norther suburbs area of Frankfurt (Bad Homburg).
We are looking for an experienced, director-level, strategic HR Business Partner to join our growing European organization (currently 30). This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership role and a unique opportunity to be the sole HR team member in Europe. You’ll partner closely with European leadership and our global HR team to develop and execute people strategies that support the growth of the business while meeting the needs of our employees across Europe.
You’ll serve as a trusted advisor to leaders, managers, and employees across the full employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, learning and development, employee relations, compensation and benefits, organizational development, and employment compliance.
Just as importantly, you will help translate Fieldpiece’s global people programs into approaches that work effectively within Germany and our broader European organization.
Serve as a strategic HR partner to European leadership, aligning people strategies with business priorities and Fieldpiece’s global HR strategy.
Advise leaders and employees across the full employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, performance, development, compensation and benefits, and employee relations.
Adapt and implement global HR programs and practices to meet regional business, cultural, and regulatory needs.
Ensure compliance with employment laws across Europe, partnering with local counsel, payroll providers, and other external partners as needed.
Partner with leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, change management, and talent strategies that support regional growth.
Strengthen employee engagement, leadership capability, and the overall employee experience.
Use HR metrics and insights to guide decisions, improve practices, and lead regional and global HR initiatives.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline; a Master’s degree is preferred.
10+ years of progressive HR experience, including demonstrated experience operating at a director level as an HR Business Partner or in a comparable senior HR role.
Experience working within a multinational or global organization.
Broad HR expertise spanning talent management, talent acquisition, employee relations, organizational development, compensation and benefits, performance management, and compliance.
Strong knowledge of European employment practices and experience working with employment laws and HR requirements across multiple European countries.
Experience with global HCM platforms; Workday experience is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to operate strategically while remaining comfortable working hands-on in a growing organization.
Strong business judgment, problem-solving skills, and the ability to influence effectively across different levels and cultures.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, coaching, and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Fluency in German and English is required; additional European languages such as French, Spanish, or Dutch are a plus.
