This position combines strategic Medical Affairs leadership with innovation scouting and business development support. You will support the identification and evaluation of enhanced generic products, drug repurposing opportunities, and external innovation concepts while ensuring scientific excellence across the product lifecycle. Working closely with Portfolio, Business Development, R&D, Regulatory Affairs, and Commercial teams, you will transform scientific insights into actionable portfolio and innovation strategies that address unmet clinical needs and create value for healthcare professionals and patients worldwide.
- Provide medical-scientific expertise for the global injectable and IV portfolio.
- Support product positioning, lifecycle management, and evidence generation activities.
- Develop and review scientific communication materials, educational programs, and training content.
- Ensure scientific accuracy and compliance of medical and promotional materials.
- Identify and evaluate opportunities for enhanced generics, differentiated formulations, and drug repurposing initiatives.
- Assess unmet medical needs, treatment gaps, and emerging clinical trends to generate innovation concepts.
- Support feasibility assessments, business case development, and innovation projects from concept to decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate scientific opportunities into actionable portfolio strategies.
- Conduct medical-scientific evaluations of external products, technologies, and partnership opportunities.
- Support licensing, acquisition, and business development activities through medical due diligence and strategic scientific assessments.
- Build relationships with external experts, research institutions, healthcare organizations, and innovation partners.
- Drive webinars, training initiatives, congress activities, and medical education programs.
- Engage with key opinion leaders and scientific societies to generate insights and strengthen external networks.
- Monitor scientific literature, clinical practice trends, and competitor activities to inform future portfolio opportunities.
- Advanced degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, or Life Sciences (MD, PharmD, or PhD preferred).
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical industry, ideally in hospital products, injectables, or critical care therapies.
- Strong understanding of clinical development, evidence generation, regulatory requirements, and scientific communication.
- Experience working in complex international matrix organizations and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to translate scientific insights into strategic and commercially relevant recommendations.
- Excellent stakeholder management, presentation, and communication skills.
- Fluent English and willingness to travel internationally
