What to Expect
We are looking for a Technical Support Technician who will play a key role in the preparation and follow-up of technical trainings while also supporting environmental compliance and data management at Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg.
In this position you will ensure that training materials and equipment are always ready, track environmental measures to closure, maintain substance and permit databases, and take over selected environmental compliance and permitting tasks. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work across Training and EHS teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and follow up on technical trainings: organize training rooms and equipment, prepare materials and documentation, ensure all necessary tools and safety equipment are available, and complete post-training administrative tasks
- Track environmental measures and actions to completion and keep stakeholders informed of status and deadlines
- Maintain and update substance and permit databases with high accuracy and in a timely manner
- Support selected environmental compliance and permitting tasks, including compliance documentation, risk tracking, and coordination of inspection-related tasks
- Organize and carry out maintenance and servicing of respiratory protection equipment in accordance with applicable regulations and standards
- Support audits, inspections, and continuous improvement activities in the areas of environment and training
- Work closely with Training and EHS teams to ensure smooth processes and timely completion of tasks
What You'll Bring
- Completed technical education with at least 2 years of relevant professional experience in a technical or support role
- Experience in training preparation/support or environmental/EHS tasks is a strong advantage
- Very good organizational skills and high attention to detail, especially when working with databases and documentation
- Solid knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel); experience with database systems or ticket tools (e.g. JIRA) is a plus
- Good communication skills in German and English
- Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team
- Awareness of occupational health and safety topics
