As HV Automation Lead Engineer (m/w/d), you are responsible for the design, integration, and implementation of high-voltage automation systems, including AC switchgear controls, OT networks, HVDC, Auxiliary and GIS integration, optical transmission systems, WAN, and HMI/SCADA platforms. You work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, designers, and contractors to ensure technical compliance with project specifications, schedules, quality standards, and budget requirements.
Key Missions
HV Automation Lead engineer will have the following key missions:
- Define equipment and documents necessary to meet customer needs, based on technical and administrative requirements.
- Collect the needed input data and establish Detailed Design in compliance with contractual specifications
- Organize and supervise factory/site acceptance tests, performed by suppliers, and commissioning of Automation, Network, SCADA/HMI equipment/software in compliance with contractual technical specifications and project time schedules.
Performance Measurements
The performance of HV Automation Lead engineer will be measured based on:
- Quality of design and accuracy of technical specifications.
- Efficient management of Detailed Design using CAD tools.
- Compliance with contractual specifications, project schedules, and budget constraints.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members.
Desired Profile
The ideal candidate for HV Automation Lead engineer position should possess the following qualifications and competencies:
- Graduate from Automation/Telecom school.
- Knowledge of electrical installations, including substation controls, SCADA/HMI.
- Knowledge in Optical transmission systems, WAN/LAN design and configuration.
- Knowledge in clusters, virtualization, version control tools, asset management tools, cybersecurity will be an advantage.
Experience
- Proven experience in HMI/SCADA, industrial network and control system design, setup.
- FAT/SAT/commissioning experience will be an advantage as any other field activity experience.
- Portfolio of completed tasks in EPC/turnkey projects could be presented to prove the practical expertise.
