Mission of the role:
Lead end-to-end display subsystem development for local and global customer programs, ensuring high-quality delivery of Instrument Cluster and Display solutions through strong technical ownership, supplier collaboration, and seamless cross-functional integration.
Key Objectives of the Role:

Own all technical aspects of the display subsystem across pursuit and development phases.

Act as the primary technical interface with customers, display suppliers, and internal engineering teams.

Translate customer requirements into robust display specifications and validated technical solutions.

Select and drive the adoption of appropriate display technologies and suppliers to meet performance, cost, quality, and timing targets.

Ensure successful integration of display hardware, drivers, and interfaces within the overall system architecture.

Lead display requirements analysis and specification development.
-
Define display architecture, interfaces, and driver requirements in collaboration with system, software, electronics, and mechanical teams.

Evaluate, select, and technically manage display suppliers throughout development and production readiness.

Conduct and/or support electrical, optical, and performance validation activities to ensure display performance meets requirements.

Drive design verification activities and lead issue resolution throughout the development lifecycle.

Provide manufacturing and launch support to ensure stable, high-quality production.
-
Prepare and maintain clear and accurate technical documentation related to display design and integration.

Customer Technical Relationship: Effectiveness and quality of technical collaboration with customer display engineering teams.

Project Execution: Delivery of display development activities and milestones on time and within scope.

Problem Resolution: Speed and effectiveness in diagnosing and resolving display-related technical issues.

Technical Documentation Quality: Accuracy, completeness, and clarity of display specifications and integration documentation.

Supplier Technical Management: Ability to guide suppliers to meet technical, quality, and program requirements.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:
Strong technical knowledge of display systems (TFT, LCD, OLED), including:

Display technologies and principles of operation

Performance characteristics and limitations

Manufacturing processes and quality controls

Display driving requirements and system-level design
-
Display testing, validation, and measurement techniques
Other requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronics or a related engineering or scientific discipline.

Experience in the development of display systems for high-volume automotive production.

Familiarity with capacitive touch systems, controllers, and related software algorithms is an advantage.

Strong electronics engineering background and system-level understanding.
-
Experience working with customers and suppliers in a technical environment.

Fluency in English; German language capability is required.

Proficiency with standard office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
