ABOUT THE JOB
As Senior Specialist Group Project Controlling for the TRATON Modular System 1 (TMS1) program you will act as the financial expert and strategic co-pilot steering TRATON and its brands toward profitable, data-driven decisions. You challenge assumptions, collaborate across diverse business areas and deliver sharp financial insights that strengthen accountability and elevate performance across the project portfolio.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Calculate project profitability, challenge expected benefits and drive value-oriented target setting
Monitor project performance and assess financial progress against established targets
Develop and communicate business cases and project economics to senior leadership
Prepare financial materials for key decision-making forums across TRATON Group
Manage ad-hoc inquiries and conduct complex analyses related to TMS1 and the broader product portfolio
Identify risks, challenge assumptions and contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes
Collaborate extensively with cross-functional partners and international stakeholders across TRATON’s global organization
YOUR SKILLS
At least 5 years of experience in financial controlling, business analysis, project controlling or a similar analytical role
Master’s degree in business, industrial engineering or bring equivalent relevant experience
Strong system proficiency, ideally including C-place, Power BI and SAP, and ability to leverage data to create clarity and drive decisions
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills - you can engage effectively across all levels of the organization
Operate comfortably in large, cross-functional networks and have the confidence to contribute in executive and top-management forums
Highly proficient in English; German language skills is a plus
Thrive in a fast-paced, international environment and bring a collaborative mindset, positive energy and a sense of fun to your work
