As a Financial Accountant (m/f/x), you will monitor daily incoming and outgoing payments and manage ongoing accounting processes.
- Performing day-to-day accounting activities, including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed asset accounting, and account reconciliations
- Preparing tax filings and reports (e.g., VAT returns, EC Sales Lists, etc.)
- Managing payment transactions and cash flow/liquidity planning
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensuring effective and efficient accounts receivable management, including dunning and collection procedures
- Serving as a contact person for tax, social security, and customs-related matters
- Handling additional administrative tasks as required
- Successfully completed commercial/business training, ideally as a certified tax clerk/accounting specialist
- Good knowledge of commercial and tax law; knowledge of payroll tax regulations is an advantage
- Initial solid professional experience in financial accounting
- Strong affinity for numbers combined with excellent analytical skills and a structured approach to work
- Willingness to take on cross-functional responsibilities
- Proficient in common MS Office applications, particularly MS Excel
- Experience with ERP systems; ideally Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Business Central (BC)
- Good written and spoken English skills
