As Team Lead Plastics (m/f/d) you will be responsible for the supervision of production teams. You will report directly to the supervisor and help to develop the team in terms of safety, quality and evaluation. In addition, you will assist in problem resolution, including root cause investigation and corrective action tracking. As well supporting defined KPIs while promoting a positive and consistent problem-solving approach to team development.
What You'll Do

You will work together with a team to develop optimal processes and workflows so that our team has a safe and ergonomic workplace in the injection molding shop and support the process engineers (m/f/d) in the implementation and further development of processes.

You support with problem diagnosis and resolution as well as with the implementation of optimization measures.
- You are the first point of contact for issues within the team and take initial measures.

You Identify restrictions in the workflow, solve the problems and escalate where needed.

You are responsible for documenting MRB and maintaining cleanliness in your area of responsibility.

You work directly with Operations Supervisor to resolve issues, questions and support implementing of countermeasures to improve quality.

You support the Supervisor in the supervision, evaluation and Induction of employees and new joiners, and new employees.

You drive safety related issues and improvements.
What You'll Bring

You have professional training in the injection molding industry or a comparable qualification, preferably in the automotive industry with several years of experience in injection molding.

Certificates on injection molding or process technologies desirable (training on spray technology, robot programming, pouring curves, etc.)

Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Hands-on experience in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment.

You already have experience in process optimization, for example lean production.

Experience in leading a team and advanced soft and people skills is a plus.

Fluency in written and spoken English or German.
