As a Business Unit Manager, you are responsible for the performance and strategic direction of one of our two business units. With full P&L responsibility, you lead a cross-functional team across sales, engineering, and production, ensuring sustainable and profitable growth.
This customer-facing leadership role reports directly to the Vice President Sales & Marketing and is a key development position on the path toward executive management.
Responsibilities

Full responsibility for the business unit’s P&L

Pricing, acquisition of new business, and continuous productivity improvement

Development and implementation of the business unit strategy for sustained growth

Leadership and development of a cross-functional team
-
Building and maintaining long-term customer relationships
-
Responsibility for contract reviews and negotiations
-
Preparation and execution of the annual business unit plan (budget)
-
Presentation of quarterly reports to executive management and shareholders
-
Establishing a performance-driven culture with high accountability
-
Taking on additional strategic or cross-functional responsibilities as required
Qualifications
-
University degree, ideally with a technical background
-
At least 5 years of professional experience in positions of responsibility

Experience in leading teams (disciplinary or cross-functional)

Strong customer and business focus, preferably in an industrial or aerospace environment
-
Willingness to travel at least 30%, including internationally
-
Business-fluent German and English (written and spoken)
