We’re looking for a driven and dynamic Deputy Warehouse Manager to contribute to our continued
success on a global scale.

We are looking to recruit a Deputy Warehouse Manager on a permanent basis to join our Warehouse team
based at our site in Verl, Germany.

The Role
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this is a hands-on role which will include supporting our warehouse and
to lead, motivate, supervise and develop the team whilst delivering a consistent, smooth and efficient
warehouse / logistics department.

Although the core hours are Monday to Thursday 07:15 – 16:00 and Friday 07:15 – 14:45, you must have a
flexible attitude to the start and finish times to suit the business needs and be able to work overtime at short
notice.

Key Tasks

Create a fully flexible Goods Outwards/Logistics Team, through training and secondment to other

disciplines on a rolling basis

To ensure excellent communication and teamwork by maintaining a helpful, positive and friendly

atmosphere with colleagues

Ensure all necessary tasks are delegated to your team

Maintain customer care by accurate picking and packing of customer orders both DLF and general

orders.

Ensure the goods receiving / inwards processes are followed as per company guidelines and

standards

Efficient control of warehouse working hours & monitor overtime

Ensure the efficient and accurate picking and despatch of all sales orders, works orders, rework,

plating notes and transfers, ensuring nil overdue deliveries

Ensure deliveries are accurate and on time

Deputy Warehouse Manager

Ensure daily urgent customer orders are dealt with and the efficient use of Hauliers

& Couriers to despatch

Set up and maintenance of kanbans for customers

Ensure stock is returned to correct warehouse locations buy all staff

Ensure stock losses are reported to the Warehouse Manager

Monitor and carry out PI counts when required, updating quantities in the warehouse management

system. Report findings to Warehouse and Operations Managers.

Liaising with Warehouse Manager all records and top 30’s to be completed yearly/quarterly

Assist with the achievement of monthly PI targets to PI plan

The Candidate

The ideal candidate has a completed vocational training in warehouse/logistics operations and solid
hands-on experience within a warehouse environment. In addition, they have ideally completed further
training as a Logistics Master (m/f/d) or are willing to participate in internal training programs provided by
other European TR locations.

Proven warehouse experience is essential, along with a strong understanding of the various warehouse
functions and logistics processes.

A strong drive to succeed and a can-do attitude are key requirements. The candidate must recognize the
importance of teamwork while also demonstrating the initiative and motivation to work independently
when required to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.

The ideal candidate is accustomed to working to deadlines in a fast-paced environment, is able to think on
their feet, and can effectively prioritize tasks. Flexibility, resilience, and a high level of accuracy are
essential, as precision is critical to the success of this role.
