About the Role
Webmentix GmbH is seeking a highly skilled Imaging, Build & Staging – Technical Specialist (L2) to join our team on a permanent basis. In this critical role, you will perform comprehensive imaging, build, and staging tasks for end-user devices onsite at our Düsseldorf location, ensuring the smooth functioning of the enterprise endpoint landscape.
This role encompasses the creation and maintenance of standardized system images, complete device preparation for deployment, asset tagging, testing, and quality assurance. You will manage packaging and logistics, ensure timely staging and dispatch, and perform onsite installations at user locations while strictly adhering to internal SLA performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities
- Standard Image Management: Manage the creation and maintenance of standardized system images to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization.
- Device Preparation: Perform complete device preparation for deployment, which includes hardware inspection, OS installation & configuration, application loading, and detailed device configuration.
- Installation & Deployment: Perform onsite installations at user locations efficiently, ensuring high-speed delivery (≥ 95% completion within 5 business days).
- Printer Management: Conduct Printer certification for both new and refresh hardware rollouts.
- Inventory Control: Carry out accurate asset tagging, maintain detailed inventory records, and assist with broader Asset Management tasks as required.
- Quality Assurance: Execute rigorous testing and quality assurance on all prepared devices prior to rollout.
- Logistics & Staging: Package devices, coordinate logistics for staging and dispatch, and ensure timely delivery as per SLA (≥ 95% within 5 business days & 98% Staging Quality pass rate).
- Collaboration & Support: Collaborate seamlessly with other End-User Computing (EUC) teams to resolve complex issues, support end-users, and fulfill expedited requests.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of processes, issues, and resolutions. Consistently report status and escalate issues per the defined RACI framework.
- Continuous Improvement: Actively contribute to continuous process improvement and knowledge sharing within the IT team.
Required Skills and Experience
Primary Skills:
- Experience: 5+ years of relevant professional experience focused on IT endpoint deployment and technical support.
- Endpoint Management: Hands-on familiarity and operational experience with Endpoint Management tools (e.g., MECM/SCCM, Intune).
- Hardware & OS Expertise: Deep technical skills in OS installation/configuration, software loading, and hardware preparation.
- Service Delivery: Strong understanding of EUC (End-User Computing) operations and a proven track record of meeting service delivery metrics and SLAs.
- Language: Professional fluency in both German and English is mandatory.
Secondary Skills:
- Logistics & Coordination: Strong organizational skills related to IT asset packaging, staging, and dispatch coordination.
- Education & Certification: A B-Tech or equivalent bachelor’s degree is preferred. Relevant certifications in endpoint management or imaging technologies are considered a strong plus.
Eligibility & Work Model
- Work Structure: 100% Onsite at our office in Düsseldorf, Germany (Klaus-Bungert Strasse).
- Work Authorization: Candidates must possess a valid, unrestricted legal right to work in Germany.
- Notice Period: Immediate availability or short notice periods preferred.
Gehalt: 30.975,74€ - 59.349,00€ pro Jahr
