We develop and distribute all-natural, vegan, allergen-free supplements. Behind the product is a young, international, and technically ambitious team that moves fast and builds for scale. If you want to architect real-world systems that reach customers across three continents, this is where you do it. For this role we're not looking for an ML researcher, but for a strong software engineer who builds AI automation programmatically: as versioned, testable, maintainable code not as a clicked-together no-code workflow.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and operate production-grade agentic systems (RAG, tool integration, context-aware processing) that automate customer care and operations across our markets — including data-privacy requirements such as PII masking.
- Connect our systems programmatically through their APIs: e-commerce (e.g. Shopify), customer support (e.g. Zendesk), CRM, and the email channel to segment, personalise, and automate customer communication end to end.
- Use generative models via their APIs to produce content and creative at scale, with automated publishing workflows.
- Build the tooling that measures performance: dashboards, data pipelines, automated reporting, and anomaly detection.
- Decide, based on data, which processes are actually worth automating then ship those automations where they create value.
- Bring your own systems to production and keep them handover-ready for a small team: clean code, tests, monitoring, documentation.
What You Bring
- 5+ years as a software engineer with a proven track record deploying production systems; recent hands-on experience with LLM-based / generative AI.
- Strong programming skills (especially Python): clean API design, async/queues, robust error handling, idempotency in integrations (webhooks that occasionally fire twice).
- LLM APIs used programmatically, in code: prompt and context engineering, structured outputs, tool calling, plus an eval/test harness that guards against regressions instead of "looks good to me".
- Ability to build RAG yourself: embeddings, managed vector stores, making retrieval quality measurable.
- Light data engineering: SQL, data pipelines, and automated reporting across CRM, e-commerce, and marketing data.
- Deployment-capable: containers, some IaC, secrets handling, observability; you don't throw your work "over the fence to IT".
- Buy-over-build judgment: a good sense of when to build custom versus leverage an existing SaaS platform, balancing cost, speed, and maintainability.
- Service mindset & clear communication: you understand what non-technical teams need and build tools they actually use.
Nice to Have
- Experience with fine-tuning / LoRA and deploying your own models. (Explicitly not required , at our scale the leverage is in integration and orchestration, not model training.)
- Automation for performance-marketing channels (Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, Amazon) and technical/content SEO.
- Sector background in supplements, nutrition, or pharma.
