Nestled in the vibrant heart of Berlin, SSAM Korean BBQ is a culinary hotspot celebrated for its authentic Korean cuisine and dynamic dining environment. We are currently seeking a friendly and dedicated Server to join our front-of-house team and ensure every guest experiences the warm, inviting atmosphere that SSAM is known for.
Role: Server
Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a welcoming and efficient manner.
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all guest needs are met.
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely and professional manner.
- Welcoming guests warmly and providing them with an overview of Korean BBQ dining customs
- Offering detailed explanations of how Korean BBQ works, including the grilling process, marinated meats, and traditional side dishes
- Assisting guests in selecting from our menu options and recommending popular dishes for the ultimate Korean BBQ experience
- Demonstrating proper grilling techniques and ensuring guests feel confident and comfortable while cooking their own meals
- Providing attentive service throughout the dining experience, anticipating guests' needs, and ensuring their satisfaction
- Collaborating with team members to maintain a clean and organized dining area and uphold food safety standards
- Process payments accurately, including handling cash and card transactions.
Working Hours: Full-time,Part Time , Mini job with possibile shifts including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
Qualifications:
- Availability to work on Mondays, Tuesdays, and weekends is required.
- Minimum 1 year of proven experience as a server or in a similar role within a restaurant setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable interacting with guests and resolving issues.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Enthusiasm for Korean cuisine and a desire to contribute to a thriving culinary establishment.
- Proficient in English; basic German skills are preferred. Any Asian language is a plus.
