A global company specializing in business travel solutions, corporate payments, and expense management is looking for an experienced Business Travel Consultant to join its Berlin-based team.
In this role, you will support corporate travelers by managing business travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, rail bookings, and additional travel services. You will help ensure a smooth and efficient travel experience while maintaining high service standards and compliance with company policies.
This is a full-time hybrid position, offering mainly remote work with occasional office presence in Berlin (approximately once per week).
Your Role
- Support customers via phone, email, and chat throughout the travel booking process
- Manage complex travel reservations including flights, rail, hotels, and related services
- Assist travelers with online booking tools and self-service platforms
- Stay informed about travel regulations, destinations, and industry updates
- Ensure fast and professional responses in line with service standards
- Maintain compliance with internal procedures and customer travel policies
- Collaborate with internal teams and provide feedback on process improvements
- Contribute to discussions regarding travel trends, suppliers, and best practices
Your Qualifications
- Fluent German (C1) and strong communication skills in English
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business travel consulting
- At least 3 years of hands-on GDS experience (Sabre, Amadeus, or Galileo required)
- Previous experience in customer-facing or contact center environments
- Familiarity with tools such as Zendesk, Slack, Salesforce, and Gmail
- Strong multitasking, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Additional language skills are considered a plus
