As part of the Verve Group, acardo is expanding its offering into a holistic Retail Media & Shopper Activation platform, combining promotions, in-store media, DOOH, and data-driven media activation across the full shopper journey.
To accelerate this transformation, we are strengthening our media sales and consultative capabilities and are looking for a Key Account Manager Media Sales to work closely with CPG brand media teams and agencies.
As Key Account Manager Media Sales, you are the trusted media partner for our CPG clients.
You act as a consultative sparring partner to in-house media teams and media agencies, helping them design effective holistic media strategies - and converting those strategies into booked campaigns and long-term partnerships.
This role blends media sales, key account management, and conceptual consulting in a highly client-facing environment.
Client Ownership & Relationship Management
Own and develop key accounts, primarily media buying units and media agencies of large CPG / FMCG brands
Build long-term, trust-based relationships with media decision-makers, planners, and buyers
Act as the primary commercial contact for media-related topics across the acardo / Verve Retail Media ecosystem
Consultative Media Sales
Advise clients on how to best use Retail Media, In-Store, DOOH, and programmatic activations to reach their campaign and business goals
Translate client objectives (reach, consideration, sales uplift, footfall, etc.) into clear, compelling media concepts and proposals
Drive campaign bookings, upsell additional media formats, articulate campaign performance through measurable, business-driving KPIs, and expand existing accounts
New Business & Pipeline Growth
Proactively identify and approach potential new clients, driving excitement for our holistic retail media and shopper activation solutions
Own and manage the entire new business acquisition process, from initial contact to contract closure, within this future-oriented area
Develop smart market strategies, identify key decision-makers, and create compelling proposals and presentations
Media Expertise & Concept Development
Bring strong hands-on knowledge of Retail Media ecosystems, In-Store & DOOH advertising, programmatic media buying, and media planning & activation logics
Develop holistic activation concepts that combine media, promotions, couponing, and shopper mechanics
Help shape and refine acardo's media offering, positioning, and go-to-market story
Internal Coordination & Enablement
Work closely with Product, Ad Operations, Sales, and Partner teams to ensure sellable, deliverable media offerings
Act as the internal voice of the customer for media-related needs and feedback
Support internal knowledge building by sharing media expertise across the organization
Commercial Responsibility
Manage pipeline, forecasts, and revenue targets for your accounts
Ensure clean handovers from sales to execution and high client satisfaction
Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and proactively develop them
Experience & Background
Several years of experience in media sales, key account management, or media consulting
Strong background in media agencies, media sales houses, retail media, DOOH, or programmatic environments
Proven experience selling complex media solutions to agencies or large brand clients
Skills & Mindset
Deep understanding of media planning, activation, and performance logic
Strong consultative mindset - you sell by understanding, advising, and convincing
Confident, professional, and credible in senior client conversations
Commercially driven, structured, and results-oriented
Able to bridge strategy, concept, and execution seamlessly
