001-GG-01-26 Workshop Supervisor
As our new Workshop Supervisor in Niederheid, you will be leading the internal maintenance team and coordinating any external contractors. As the technical expert, you will be reviewing completed tasks for quality and ensuring that your team gets it right first time, every time! You will be supporting the analysis and cost negotiations for projects and contractors as well as completing all the required administration and tracking of worked hours. You will be communicating with internal colleagues and external parties in both German and English. This, of course, comes naturally to you!
When the technical drawings come in to the workshop, you'll be able to competently interpret them and calculate the labour and materials required for the job. This is, after all, why you known as the subject matter expert (SME)!
If you see your team needs a helping hand, you will be more than happy to roll up your sleeves and get to work with the physical and practical side of the job. You could be doing anything from pest control to cutting keys, to checking the oil tanks and a variety of general DIY tasks. When building materials need collecting, you will jump into the van and collect them. You certainly won't get bored!
You get to keep your hands on the tools, whilst being the leader, guide and mentor of your own team of technical staff. Are you coming to join us? Our team is part of the Canadian Forces Support Unit Europe (CFSUE) based at Selfkant Kaserne, Niederheid.
