The work within this sub-project involves the synthesis and characterisation of nanocrystals and their assemblies, with a particular focus on function, switchability and chirality. Investigating structure-property relationships is a key part of the project.
A university degree in a relevant field, plus doctorate.
Prior knowledge in nanochemistry as well as electrochemistry (sensors and/or electrocatalysis), optical spectroscopy and electron microscopy, preferably applied to colloidal nanoparticles. Experience in colloid chemical methods, surface chemistry of nanoparticles and particle synthesis.
