As BI Data Architect (m/f/d), you ensure that our data and KPI landscape is consistent, controllable and usable as a “Single Point of Truth” for well-founded cross-functional decision-making. You act as a sparring partner and bridge between IT-related as well as business-side reporting and analytics requirements.
In particular, you will
- design and own the data model and BI architecture, including BI data models, layers, data marts and semantic layers
- define KPI logics along business process logics and translate relevant requirements into consistent KPI definitions and business rules
- implement technical data preparation, especially by developing and maintaining SQL scripts for transformations, aggregations and KPI calculations
- establish and manage KPI governance, including KPI literacy, standards, definitions and versioning to ensure company-wide consistency
- manage projects and interfaces, lead sub-projects and coordinate alignments and specifications with IT and business departments
